The Carver on MySpace

myspace.com/thecarver Tonight on the Fox FX's Nip Tuck Episode there was an Ad at the end of the show for "The Carvers" Myspace profile.

For those of you who dont know, He's the Mystery Villain on the hit TV show Nip Tuck. He's basicly nearly killed all the main characters, its actually getting a little to far out there... and now he's on MySpace. Amazing.

So now the carver has a MySpace profile, and quite a few friends if I may add.

There is also a myspace profile for the show Nip Tuck: http://www.myspace.com/38442424

Its actually kind of interesting to see, specificly the Show Profile, people commenting on what is currently going on. I think webTV tried to acomplish this in the past didnt they? It was a bomb I believe, but can MySpace pull it off?

About me: I am a private person, but I seek compassion, I yearn to be understood, to be appreciated. Do you want to come over to my house and play? To see what I see? This is my place – the dark room where I can whisper softly in your ear. My secret garden where I can explain what you have seen – to tell you what I have done – and what I plan to do. My carvings are my art, but this is my manifesto. Tread lightly, though my children – as poor Icarus learned, if you fly too close to the Sun, you might get burned.

We're all still on the edge awaiting The Carvers true identity. But, my guess is that The Carver is really Matt!

Now, my real question here is.... DRUM ROLL PLEASE...... what was the goal of this Advertisement? Was is an Ad for MySpace to hit a new audience, or did Nip Tuck run this for their show to hit a new target audience? At any rate, both audiences seem to be direct opposites to me... But then again, I was watching both at the same time.
