Myspace leads to Child Pornography Charges
Two Providence Rhode Island girls face child pornography charges after posting sexually explicit photographs of themselves on their respective Myspace pages. One was 19, the other was 16.... another case of "How stupid are you"
I have to admit, I thought 'Child Pornograpy" was only about Dirty Men and little kids, but myspace has proven me wrong yet again. This was just two girls, granted the 19yr old probably should have known better, but the "Known Better" logic has certainly already been proven a feature myspace users dont have.
At any rate, Im glad the local finest where hard at work in their "Protect and Serve" rolls:
A police officer assigned to Lincoln High School, where the girl was a student, discovered the photographs while monitoring the Web site.
I never knew joining my local police force could lead to a career in surfing the internet! Man, I would have been GREAT at that!
I might have to seriously start a new Category for FriendOnMyspace.com and call it "Myspace Idiots"
